GPS Impact is hiring a senior level position to develop and lead GPS Impact’s digital voter mobilization practice. This is a new position, which will work closely with GPS partners, principals and our leadership team to drive new business opportunities by developing and strengthening our digital voter mobilization capabilities and area of practice.  GPS will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to fully develop this role, and is committed to the growth and potential of this position.     

The ideal candidate is someone who has built a career in Democratic politics and is eager to bring their expertise to a senior leadership role in a progressive Democratic firm that values initiative, innovation and ideas.  While we prefer that this position be based in our Washington, DC office, we are open to this position being located in our Philadelphia, PA, Des Moines, IA or Kansas City, MO office.  We will also consider this being a remote position (upon approval of location).

  • Develop the strategies and road map necessary to grow and advance GPS’ capacity for creating and implementing digital voter mobilization programs
  • Generate ideas and strategies for new clients and on-going projects, identifying opportunities for integrating and expanding digital voter mobilization
  • Cultivate and maintain high quality relationships with clients, former clients, and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and ensure GPS is positioned to compete for business and respond to  RFPs
  • Collaborate and support responses for proposals, pitch new business, and participate in internal and external thought leadership 


  • The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, and will have held leadership/ management roles in Democratic politics, whether that be in political campaigns,  Democratic party committee/s, related independent committees, progressive organizations, issue advocacy, or in a political consultancy 
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in developing, implementing and managing grassroots programs on behalf of candidates or issue advocacy campaigns
  • Must have knowledge and expertise in the use of digital tools, messaging and targeting strategies in voter mobilization programs   
  • Passion for continued growth, with an enthusiasm for innovation and testing out new ideas
